Today I wanted to write a simple fire effect like the ones you find in old demoscene demos. However, I couldn’t remember the names of demos that used to have nice fire effects in them. Then I thought, that I should make a blog about old demos and my experiments in Processing trying to recreate them. These experiments are linked to in the sidebar, along with Processing and pouet.net, from where I’ll link the demos I will tag with the effects I’ve found interesting in them. I’ve only recently started exploring Processing, so it’ll be fun to document my time using it. For now, here’s where I gave up with making my fire effect interesting.

I accept the challenge.
However, Romania is not a good place to duel, as there are no demoparties anymore, so it’ll be hard to organize a fight. But we’ve got plenty of time.
